Responsibilities
Build and lead a high-performing team of engineers focused on public sector AI applications, research, and infrastructure
Drive delivery of specialized AI applications for governments by developing deep understanding of workflows and data systems
Collaborate very closely with research on AI models for government applications and workflows
Define and execute the technical strategy for public sector infrastructure, including architecture decisions for airgapped networks, and government compliance requirements
Partner directly with government customers and internal go-to-market teams to translate mission requirements into technical and product roadmaps
Create clarity and technical direction in a fast-moving environment with unique constraints
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience as a product-minded engineering manager, with at least 3 years leading teams building software for enterprise or governments
Strong technical background with proven success building and shipping enterprise or government-grade products
Experience integrating and working with AI/ML models and understanding their capabilities
Experience working in highly ambiguous environments, and operate with urgency
Experience recruiting, scaling, and retaining engineering talent in a high-growth environment
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with ability to work effectively across functions
Track record of rapidly building domain expertise and translating complex stakeholder requirements into technical strategy
Startup experience, particularly in scaling products from zero to one
Experience partnering with sales, customer success, and professional services teams to drive product adoption
Education requirements: We require at least a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
