Responsibilities
Lead the design of new or enhanced packaging machinery using advanced SolidWorks modeling and simulation tools
Perform CFD and motion simulations to optimize performance, reliability, and material flow
Partner with engineering, R&D, manufacturing, and business unit teams to ensure feasibility, manufacturability, and scalability
Support the Director of Innovation with concept development, prototyping, and validation of new automation technologies
Analyze existing machinery and propose innovative design or process improvements
Maintain design documentation, BOMs, and compliance with internal and customer standards
Provide guidance to junior engineers and collaborate with cross-site engineering teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
3–7 years of experience in packaging machinery design or industrial automation
Advanced SolidWorks proficiency (complex assemblies, configurations, detailed drawings)
Strong CFD and motion simulation experience (packaging, flow, or thermal systems)
Strong analytical thinking, communication, and project-management abilities
Demonstrated commitment to Precision, Reliability, and Innovation
Preferred
Familiarity with electromechanical systems, pneumatics, servo integration, and motion control
