Responsibilities

Safely organizing job duties to achieve production and finishing needs of the Particleboard Plant

Helping with quality issues on both production lines and the sanding department to ensure a quality product

Reporting directly to the Technical Director and interacting with various departments for efficient plant operation

Performing all Lab duties safely, including Physical Properties testing and Wet Chemistry

Direct supervision of assigned hourly crew while covering the shift supervisor to ensure safe manufacturing of particleboard at a high quality standard

Overseeing general operation of the production and finishing processes with a focus on compliance with employee safety and environmental rules

Qualification

Wood Science degreeWood products manufacturingSupervisory experienceLeadership capabilitiesLift 50 pounds

Required

A college degree in Wood Science is desired

Experience in wood products manufacturing with supervisor/leadership capabilities

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
