Responsibilities

Manage existing client relationships and develop new business to achieve agreed-upon annual sales targets
Analyze markets and build an actionable plan to grow share and meet or exceed sales goals
Sell into the public sector (particularly K–12) and navigate RFP and bid processes
Manage and maintain a sales funnel in Salesforce, ensuring all sales activities and pipeline data are up to date
Create and deliver tailored client proposals, contracts, and supporting documentation
Manage the entire sales cycle: lead generation, pitch, solution alignment, negotiation, and close
Build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers to drive adoption
Clearly communicate our SaaS value propositions and ROI for customers
Operate with autonomy and accountability while collaborating cross-functionally with marketing and product teams

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field
5–7 years of sales and business development experience, preferably in transportation, SaaS, or K–12-related industries

Proven ability to identify and close new business opportunities
Skilled at preparing proposals and presentations tailored to client needs
Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and presentation
Strong organization, time management, and follow-through
Comfortable working independently and managing multiple opportunities simultaneously
Confident negotiator with a consultative selling approach
Results-driven and customer-focused, with a passion for solving client challenges
