Responsibilities
Leading an account team that manages client accounts within the agency, with overall responsibility for the client/agency relationship
Working with your SME partners to ensure client briefs are ingested and actioned in a manner suitable for the agency to do its best work for our clients
Ensuring the profitability and growth of client accounts
Identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities with existing and future agency clients
Negotiating contracts and fees with marketing directors and client procurement personnel
Managing the team and the work, performance, and professional development of team members
Leading and inspiring those outside the core team, including creative teams, strategy, media and digital, and other parts of the agency working on the same account
Reporting key financial and team data to the agency’s senior leadership, working closely with leadership on monthly flash reports and annual planning
Working closely with the Operations team to constantly evaluate and optimize our work process
Maintaining a detailed awareness of relevant market trends affecting our agency accounts, and developments in the broader advertising and communications industry
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Advertising or related field
Minimum 15 years of advertising/marketing experience with at least eight years of managing a team
Hybrid / remote work environment friendly, with a passion for taking advantage of on-site presence opportunities
