Youth Program Leader (Redwood City)
Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula (BGCP) is dedicated to empowering youth in the community through equitable access to opportunities. The Youth Program Leader is responsible for leading a classroom and delivering effective learning environments for students, focusing on academic and life skills development.

Responsibilities
Manage a classroom of approximately 10-20 students per 1 staff
Provide academic mentoring and homework assistance
Lead students through academic activities
Adapt lesson plans for delivering enrichment classes and clubs (art, cooking, STEM, fitness, etc.)
Conduct life skills and team-building activities
Communicate with parents/guardians, school staff, and BGCP leadership
Engage in weekly check-ins and participate in staff meetings
Maintain a positive, safe, productive work environment
Participate in supporting special events and field trips
Attend training and professional development opportunities
Perform additional relevant duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Commitment to BGCP's mission and vision and working with TK-8 youth
Experience building relationships with diverse youth communities and constituents
Ability to motivate through positive reinforcement
Strong communication skills
Flexible in navigating a fast-paced environment
Preferred
one year of experience working with TK-8 youth
Spanish fluency is a plus
