Senior Project Manager

Moses Lake Industries, Inc. (MLI) is a rapidly growing producer of ultra-pure chemical products, serving the semiconductor and flat-panel screen industries worldwide. The Senior Project Manager will oversee project management processes, ensuring project readiness, facilitating meetings, and managing project procurement from planning through delivery.

Manufacturing

Responsibilities

Create executive level status materials with the ability to summarize progress status to executive leadership
Provide project readiness assessment at each stage of the project using established Organization Project Management (OPM) guidelines
Plans and facilitates project meetings to align the project team to methods and goals and to track project tasks
Monitors task completion status to identify at risk project tasks and to develop mitigation plans
Utilizes appropriate tools to plan project timelines, tasks, milestones, and deadlines
Manages Project Procurement from Spec to Delivery
Prepares agendas, meeting notes, and project summaries
Manages projects from planning through delivery
Identify interdependencies across projects, programs, products, and portfolios
Liaises between project members, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, cost, and meeting plans are communicated
Communicates schedule and scope changes to all stakeholders
Allocates resources, budgets, and effort hours to the projects. Adjust Resources when necessary, based on Project Priority and Resource Availability
Uphold all MLI policies and 'MLI Code of Conduct.'
Compliance and individual accountability with the MLI Quality System and ISO Registration is required. It is the employee’s commitment to ensure that the Company’s actual practices and procedures are exercised as directed
Perform other duties as assigned to support and sustain a high performing team

Required

Minimum of 4 years of related work experience including leading complex projects / program management objectives and people, with a minimum of 4 years' experience with a direct role in manufacturing or production
Experience working in a chemical manufacturing company, semi-conductor or high-tech (Prefer chemical background, experience & four-year degree, or path to degree)
Bachelor's degree in business base program or relevant combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Certification or progress toward certification is highly preferred and encouraged
Highly skilled in developing, publishing, and presenting executive level slide decks and reports. Expert knowledge is required
Effective time manager with high organization & managing competing priorities; ability to prioritize and plan operational workload, balance competing priorities
Demonstrated strong leadership to lead programs and projects to competition as designed
Skilled in understanding scientific and technical data, including Six Sigma toolset and excellent knowledge of mathematics, data analysis and statistical methods
Strong attention to detail, observation, organization, analytical, problem-solving & leadership
Ability to facilitate meetings of all sizes for requirements definition, readiness impacts, and documentation, project planning, decision negotiations, risk and issue identification and management, and status tracking
Strong technical and IT skills, toolset usage, planning and problem solving, including applicable technology, tools & industry best practices
Excellent communication, listening & presentation (written & verbal) skills in English
Work effectively with high tolerance of ambiguity and ability to follow instruction
Customer service & orientation (internal/external), ability to work through others, teamwork
Strategic thinker, scenario planner and risk mitigation
Advanced working knowledge of computers and MS Office Suite, including Access & Visio, and Project Management techniques (PMI), and systems
Ability to travel (All US States & International), up to 50% of time
Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in order to meet established deadlines
Work as a team and/or independently
Perform tasks with attention to detail and accuracy
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
Assertive, self-starter that sets initiative and goals
Critical thinking, scenario planning, & risk mitigation techniques and systems
