Single - Family General Manager

The Single-Family General Manager will lead operations for GRID’s single-family services, focusing on strategic leadership to improve performance and drive community impact.

Responsibilities
Operational Strategy and Oversight
Lead planning, managing change, and completing tasks across the Single-Family vertical
Manage centralized functions like marketing, lead intake, client care, design, online permitting, and service call intake teams
Collaborate with affiliate leadership to establish annual goals and support decentralized functions such as client-facing outreach, local marketing, and installation teams
Collaborate with the Program Administration team to establish annual program goals, meet incentive program deliverables, and inform program design and standards
Document and optimize workflows, standards, training, and communication
Business Development and Client Acquisition
Drive lead generation, referral, and conversion strategies with marketing and outreach teams
Provide pipeline forecasts to Procurement for accurate material and inventory planning
Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for growth and innovation
Financial and Performance Management
Develop and manage budgets, Key Performance Indicators, and timelines for the Single-Family vertical
Lead operational improvement initiatives and track progress toward strategic goals
Ensure transparency and accountability in performance reporting

Qualification
Required
5+ years experience in single-family residential solar construction or operations, ideally in a strategic or general management role
Confirmed expertise in business planning, budget management, and financial oversight
Strong background in marketing and sales, including lead generation and customer conversion
Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, including goal setting, team building, and cross-functional coordination
Experience with programs such as Salesforce and Excel
