Responsibilities
Be the front-line manager leading the Cloud Infrastructure team, through a mix of people, technical, and product leadership
Inspire and lead the team through the next phases of growth ($100M+), including recruiting to grow the team, and adapting the team’s charter and vision, as the business needs evolve
Partner closely with other functions in Engineering and cross-functional partners like Security and Finance to set direction, priorities, and ensure smooth collaboration
Qualification
Required
At least 2-5 years of direct engineering management experience
8+ years of overall developer and management experience in total
A strong platform engineering background of building business-specific systems that other engineering teams use, with thoughtful interfaces and smart abstractions
Hands-on experience with GCP or comparable cloud provider and a typical cloud infrastructure feature set (eg: managing containerized compute, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, multi-region database architecture, observability, reliability & SLOs, cloud security)
B2B experience, and big plus to have enterprise SaaS experience
A mix of scrappy startup and big company experience is a plus
