Responsibilities
Maintains the company’s general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of all subsidiary accounts
Performs reconciliation and review of accounts related to OPO Tissue Recovery Partners to ensure accuracy and proper financial reporting
Calculates rebates in accordance with contract terms and records related accruals
Reviews pricing controls to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established financial policies
Prepares and posts adjusting journal entries as needed ensuring all supporting documentation is properly maintained to support the integrity of financial data
Supports month-end and year-end close processes to ensure the integrity of financial statements and compliance with GAAP
Calculates and processes periodic commissions for LifeNet Health internal and external partners accurately and on schedule
Collaborates with cross-functional departments to verify data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure adherence to established contracts, compensation structures, and internal controls
Manages accounting for company assets, including acquisitions, disposals and transfers
Maintains the property ledger, calculates depreciation, and ensures adherence with capitalization policies
Supports fixed asset audits and provides accurate reporting to support business and regulatory requirements
Oversees quarterly consignment audits in collaboration with Strategic Services and Customer Experience, ensuring financial accuracy and completeness
Supports the annual financial statement audit by preparing schedules, providing documentation, and assisting with auditor requests
Prepares and submits compliance reporting in accordance with federal and state transparency requirements
Assists with year-end tax compliance and state reporting by gathering, analyzing, and reconciling financial data for all applicable companies
Prepares the Medicare cost report, including related monthly accruals, and ensures all reporting aligns with applicable regulatory standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Two (2) years of Accounting experience
Two (2) years of experience with analysis and interpreting complex financial data and reports
Preferred
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
One (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment
One (1) year of Experience in SAP
Experience with an ERP such as SAP, Oracle
