Advanced Automation Consulting is seeking a Systems Administrator for their government client. The role involves managing, maintaining, upgrading, and supporting Digital Evidence Management Systems, including the Axon Evidence.com platform and physical servers, while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

Administer web-based video retention system using the Evidence.com platform

Manage, configure, and troubleshoot Windows server, Axon systems, and Devices

Perform software installation, upgrades, and patching

Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements

Troubleshoot computer network system issues and outages

Assist users with gaining access to or restricting access to video data and troubleshoot content access issues

Make changes to system categories, tags or other configurations as authorized by the system/business owner and through the change management process

Enable e-discovery holds on content and produce content as a part of an authorized e-discovery request

Maintain (Add, Modify, Delete) application user accounts

Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies

Maintain (Create, Modify, Delete) local work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, User Guides, User Training

Required

Proven experience as a System Administrator, Infrastructure Specialist, or similar role

Experience with servers, applications, networks (LAN, WAN), Windows OS, and patch management

Knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery

Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms

Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude

Excellent communication skills

BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) is a plus

Candidate must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
