They are seeking a Development/Design Engineering Intern for the Summer 2026 Internship Program to support the Development Engineering group in product R&D, mechanical design, and testing.

Responsibilities

Gain Experience!

Engineering build / manual assembly of prototypes

3D modeling and engineering drawings utilizing CAD

Supporting mechanical and electrical lab testing

Documentation of test results and presentations

Component / assembly quality inspection

Interfacing with other engineering disciplines in the design and manufacturing process of interconnect products

Qualification

Pro-ESolidworksFinite Element AnalysisTeamworkCommunication

Required

At least a sophomore in Mechanical Engineering or Plastics Engineering programs

Experience in Pro-E or Solidworks

Ability to communicate with technical & non-technical people

Ability to work in team environment

Preferred

Experience with Finite Element Analysis tools desirable
