The Clinical Quality & Health Equity Performance Improvement Consultant serves as a clinical expert supporting Medi-Cal managed care plans in improving healthcare quality and advancing health equity, providing technical guidance and collaborating with various stakeholders to promote system-wide improvements.

Responsibilities

Serve as a clinical expert supporting Medi-Cal managed care plans in improving healthcare quality and advancing health equity

Provide technical guidance and interpret complex clinical data

Assist in designing and refining quality improvement initiatives

Collaborate with internal DHCS divisions and external stakeholders to align strategies and share best practices

Contribute to key departmental policies and publications

Lead the planning and facilitation of quality improvement training sessions and statewide meetings with health plans

Required

Position requires employee to have and maintain a valid California Nursing License
