Responsibilities
Coordinate with General Contractors and other subs to gather required information to design the project’s sprinkler system
Create detailed drawings through extensive use of AutoCAD
Create material listings for projects
Perform Hydraulic Calculations
Work with other departments within the company to hand over proper job information
Maintain organized records, including but not limited to tracking of submittals, change orders, and permits
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Commercial Fire Sprinkler Designer
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Experience with Bluebeam
Ability to perform hydraulic calculations
Strong communication, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
