IT Senior Systems Engineer
Premier Networx is a growing managed service provider seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Systems Engineer. The role involves establishing network environments, designing system configurations, and managing IT equipment to ensure exceptional service for clients.

Responsibilities
Establish network environments by designing system configurations, directing system installation, and defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards
Design and implement new solutions and improve existing infrastructure
Service, configure, install, and maintain customers' IT equipment (Windows servers, workstations, routers, switches, AD, GPO, VPN, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, WAN, etc.)
Manage and maintain Windows servers, routers, firewalls, wireless devices, switches, and other networking equipment
Configuring, installing, and troubleshooting: Windows server and workstation operating system (Win 8, 10, 11, 2012, 2016 & 2019); firewalls, managed switches, routers, WIFI systems; O365 suite. AD and its functions (Users/Groups, NTFS permissions, GP), MS SQL Server 2008 and higher. Networking: switches, routers, servers, cables, firewalls, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, latency, VoIP, QoS
Working knowledge of either or both Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS
Working knowledge of M365 components such as Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Security & Compliance, and ATP
Other related duties as assigned by management
DAILY time entry accounting for at least 9 hours in the form of Resolution Notes in Service Tickets
Regular and timely completion of Minimum Documentation Standards for each client
Execution and conclusion of projects on-time and/or successful management of client expectations when targets cannot be met
Good communication with Account Managers and Management with regards to events and changes transpiring at client sites
Ability to communicate with client at all levels from end users, IT personnel and CxO’s and to understand business issues in context of IT issues
Takes ownership of tasks and follows through to ensure complete resolution
Takes a personal interest in, and responsibility for, quality of work they perform or are associated with
Ability to pay close attention to detail while performing technically detailed tasks
Ability to deal effectively with stressful situations
Ability and willingness to recognize when it is necessary to ask for technical expertise from others without unnecessarily burdening other team members
Ability to provide accurate time estimates for how long a task will take
Understands that the success of individuals is measured by the success of their teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or equivalent in a related field preferred
5+ years of related experience or equivalent; experience with a Managed Service company preferred
Advanced experience required: Windows Systems, Microsoft AD, Azure, Cisco, O365, SonicWall, Virtual Apps, and Desktops
Knowledge of MS Hyper-V/VMware or Azure administration and support
Knowledge of Office 365 administration with domain synchronization
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Ability to manage priorities and workflow
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
Acute attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects
Preferred
Prior MSP experience preferred
