Responsibilities
Manage multiple steel fabrication and erection projects simultaneously, from estimating handoff through closeout
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and change orders
Coordinate with engineering, detailing, fabrication, and field teams to ensure drawings, materials, and timelines align
Serve as the main point of contact for general contractors, owners, and vendors
Review and interpret structural and architectural drawings
Oversee procurement of steel and subcontracted services
Conduct regular site visits and monitor field progress to maintain safety, quality, and schedule compliance
Prepare and submit RFIs, submittals, and progress billings
Lead project meetings and ensure clear communication between all stakeholders
Qualification
Required
5 or more years of experience managing structural or miscellaneous steel projects, including fabrication and erection
Strong knowledge of AISC standards, shop drawings, and erection sequencing
Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships
Proficient with project management software and tools such as MS Project, Bluebeam, and Procore
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
