Responsibilities

Lead Quality Improvement Initiatives: Contribute to and spearhead quality improvement priorities within our inpatient hospital setting

Measure Quality Metrics: Identify and measure key quality metrics, ensuring our accreditation readiness and synthesizing patient experience results

Enhance Patient Safety: Review and analyze patient safety events, including incident reporting, root cause analysis, and infection control measures

Educate and Train: Provide ongoing education and training to new and current employees about our quality program, processes, and outcomes

Conduct Needs Assessments: Perform annual needs assessments utilizing data analysis, personal interviews, questionnaires, and surveys to identify the health-related needs of our patients and target service areas in collaboration with hospital leadership

Produce Comprehensive Reports: Create reports detailing identified quality indicators, including flow charts, graphs, and diagrams for the Medical Executive Committee, Safety and Risk Committee, Board of Governors, and other senior leadership activities

Track Improvement Strategies: Target identified indicators with quality improvement strategies and monitor changes over time to ensure effectiveness

Collaborate for Best Practices: Work collaboratively to develop and share best practices aimed at enhancing quality, safety, patient experience, value, and efficiency

Ensure Compliance: Responsible for the analysis and reporting of measures as required by accrediting and regulatory bodies
