Associate Director Of Financial Aid
Campbell University is seeking an Associate Director of Financial Aid, a senior level administrator within the Financial Aid Office. This role provides leadership and oversight of daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and delivering high-quality customer service to students.

Responsibilities
Manage daily operations of the Financial Aid office including supervision in the absence of the Director
Facilitate coordination and communication between respective colleges/departments as they relate to the office's role in creating a positive educational experience for students
Address complaints and resolve problems. Through benchmarking peer and aspirant peer groups, define, share and lead efforts to maximize FA’s role in recruiting and retention
Counsel prospective and returning students on all aspects of Federal, State, and Institutional Aid sources
Serve as primary point of contact and team lead for the financial aid counseling staff
Responsible for managing the Dependency Override and Special Circumstance Request
Oversees the State funded programs to include, but not limited to the North Carolina Need Based Scholarship Program
Primary point of contact and Team Lead for the annual Single Audit as well as periodic State Program Reviews
Serves as a subject matter expert on rules and regulations applicable to financial assistance and financial assistance programs, including staying current on regulations, compliance status, and pending changes. Identifies necessary changes to maintain compliance
Responsible for managing the Return to Title IV Aid process
Oversees all financial aid training programs for staff and informing staff on new Title IV regulations
Attend meetings and participate in committees, as assigned, and attend training necessary to stay abreast of regulations concerning financial aid

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Three years direct experience in Financial Aid or equivalent experience
Working knowledge of Title IV and all Federal Regulations
Communicate effectively to all groups through both oral and written channels
Maintain strict confidentiality and attention to detail are essential
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and the Internet
Demonstrate tact, a positive attitude, courtesy and discretion in dealing with trustees, faculty, staff, students, high-level university officials and the public
Work independently as well as function effectively in a team and within a diverse group of people
Exercise independent judgment in complex and new situations
Manage multiple, concurrent projects, and meet strict deadlines
Detail-oriented and willing to work in a changing environment
Upon hire, have a broad knowledge of, and abide by, Campbell University policies and procedures, including, but not limited to; Title IX, and FERPA guidelines
Preferred
Experience with Ellucian Colleague
Experience in a higher education or non-profit sector
