Responsibilities

Navigate multiple federal domains (DoD, Civilian, and Allied Military) to uncover and pursue mission-aligned opportunities and qualify new business opportunities

Deliver compelling use case and technical narratives that connect Dell’s Federal 5G capabilities to mission outcomes

Lead technical discovery, solutioning, and proposal development for federal engagements

Influence product direction by capturing and relaying federal requirements

Represent Dell at federal events, briefings, and industry forums

Provide Dell 5G Product technical expertise to sales teams in selecting and implementing P5G solutions

Proactively hunt for new federal 5G opportunities and engage with product teams to assess fit and roadmap alignment

Qualify opportunities and lead initial technical engagements across DoD and Civilian agencies, aligning with sales leads to build pursuit strategies

Prepare detailed solution proposals and lead technical responses to RFIs/RFPs

Deliver presentations and workshops to showcase solution capabilities to federal stakeholders

Scope projects and coordinate internal specialists across engineering, product, and sales

Assist sellers in creating demand and shaping opportunities through technical engagement

Prepare technical quotes including ROM/BOM and pricing, with a deep understanding of network scalability, coverage, and deployment options

Required

8+ years in technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, or federal systems engineering

Proven ability to lead cross-functional engagements and influence strategic outcomes

Deep understanding of federal IT environments, compliance frameworks, and acquisition processes

Strong knowledge of telecom networks (RAN, edge, transport, core) and orchestration platforms

Excellent communication and storytelling skills to connect technology with mission impact

Preferred

Experience supporting DoD, Civilian, or Intelligence Community programs

Familiarity with Dell infrastructure and platforms (e.g., PowerEdge, VxRail, ECS)

Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
