Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive care, including routine exams, urgent visits, and follow-ups
Diagnose and treat acute conditions such as infections, minor injuries, and skin issues
Manage chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and lipid disorders
Offer both in-person and telehealth consultations
Review labs, manage prescriptions, and communicate directly with patients
Coordinate care with specialists and assist in referrals
Perform basic procedures including EKGs, vaccinations, phlebotomy, and minor clinical tasks
Educate patients on preventive care and wellness strategies
Participate in optional home visits or after-hours care, based on availability
Qualification
Required
Active and unrestricted NP license in Washington, D.C
Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in internal medicine or primary care
Comfortable working independently while collaborating within a team
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on empathy and patient-centered care
