Electrical Superintendent

Responsibilities

Supervise, schedule, and coordinate daily electrical construction activities on-site
Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and federal codes, as well as company safety standards and project specifications
Lead and manage field electricians, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and productivity
Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans to verify electrical scope and requirements
Collaborate with the Project Manager, General Superintendent, and other trade superintendents to coordinate project sequencing and resolve field conflicts
Monitor project progress, track materials, and manage labor resources efficiently
Conduct regular site safety meetings, inspections, and enforce compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols
Identify and address potential issues, delays, or change orders proactively
Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and inspection records
Communicate effectively with clients, engineers, inspectors, and internal teams regarding project status and field conditions

Required

MUST be over the age of 18
MUST have a High School Diploma (or equivalent)
MUST have Valid Driver's License and Personal Transportation
MUST have a valid JMAN certification in the state of Florida
MUST be a US Citizen or possess a valid work permit
MUST have a FELONY FREE record
MUST be DRUG FREE before and during employment
MUST have a NEAT APPEARANCE
Strong understanding of NEC, electrical codes, and safety regulations
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications
Experience with construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, or similar)
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic construction environment
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and environments (construction sites)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and stand or walk for extended periods
