Technology Project Manager
Piedmont Health Services, Inc. is a nonprofit and Federally Qualified Health Center in North Carolina that focuses on providing accessible primary healthcare. Responsibilities
Provide direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of complex technical projects at Piedmont Health Services (PHS)
Lead projects from start to finish with a focus on information technology (IT) initiatives
Ensure projects align with PHS’ strategic plan and provide successful outcomes that advance the mission in providing essential care to the underserved community
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, health informatics, or a related field
Epic certification in at least one clinical module required within 15 months of hire if not already obtained
5+ years of project management experience, preferably in IT
2 years of experience managing technical projects with healthcare organizations or with similar regulatory environments
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical complexities into clear business terms and build consensus among stakeholders
Able to manage multiple projects concurrently, adapt to shifting priorities, and navigate ambiguity with a mission-focused mindset
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
Deep understanding of healthcare workflows and IT systems
Proficiency with project management software and tools
Familiar with healthcare regulatory requirements (HIPAA, HITECH), data privacy and security standards, and nonprofit funding/grant compliance
Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, Agile, and/or hybrid methodologies
Capable of translating technical issues into clear business/clinical language for leadership
Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented
Commitment to equity, health access, community impact, and the values of a nonprofit environment
Strong understanding of data analytics, reporting, dashboards, and healthcare data standards
Knowledge of healthcare informatics and EHR reporting
Able to analyze metrics and provide actionable insights
Commitment to our mission of improving health outcomes in underserved communities
Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up-to-date prior to beginning employment
Preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP)
Experience managing projects that involve technical infrastructure, integrations, data migrations, application programming interfaces, EHR or digital health tools
Experience with agile or hybrid project management methodologies, and use of project management tools
Experience working with remote or hybrid teams and vendors, and implementing technology in resource constrained settings
Prior experience working with underserved populations, CHC, FQHC, or value-based care environments
