Responsibilities

Manage timely, accurate billing for projects across multiple offices
Prepare, review, and finalize invoices that reflect project scope and contract terms
Set up and maintain project data, including billing rates, payment terms, and client information
Collaborate daily with project managers, accountants, and senior leaders to ensure smooth billing operations
Research and resolve billing discrepancies with accuracy and professionalism
Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives that enhance efficiency and insight
Build trusted relationships with internal teams and clients, becoming a reliable resource across the organization

Required

Bachelor's degree required (Accounting, Finance or Business preferred)
2+ years of project billing or accounting experience — ideally in the AEC, professional services, legal, or consulting industries
Experience utilizing an ERP system is required; exposure to BST Global, Deltek Vision, Axium, or other project-based systems is a strong plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; you thrive in complex, multi-project environments
Sharp attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — you build strong, collaborative partnerships
Adaptability and curiosity — you embrace evolving systems, processes, and technology
