Employment Specialist Intern (Spring 2026, Unpaid)
Oriana House, Inc. is seeking an Employment Specialist Intern for Spring 2026. The role involves providing group instruction to clients on job seeking skills and supervising the client computer lab, among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities
Provide group instruction to clients, based on approved curricula, on topics including: job seeking skills, resume creation, basic computer skills and general adult education topics
Supervise usage of client computer lab to ensure productive activity, assist clients on an individual basis as needed
Along with assistance, administers assessments to determine client’s education level, employability, soft skills, and vocational choices
Records attendance, progress, and participation of clients in designated activities
Assists with making the appropriate community referrals
Assists with monitoring clients’ compliance with program rules
Effectively implements Agency and program policies and procedures
Ensures clients’ rights are upheld. Maintains client and staff confidentiality according to Agency policies and procedures; state law; and federal regulations to include Confidentiality on Alcohol and Drug Abuse Patients Records, 42 C.F.R. Part 2 and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 ('HIPAA'), 45 C.F.R. Parts 160 and 164
Performs other duties as assigned
