Internship - Python-OpenFOAM Interface for Active Flow Control

Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories (MERL) is seeking an intern to help develop a Python-OpenFOAM interface to enable active flow control through reinforcement learning. The intern will work closely with MERL researchers to develop the interface, conduct numerical experiments, and prepare results for publication.

Qualification

PhD student in engineering or related fields
Strong knowledge of OpenFOAM
Strong knowledge of C++
Strong knowledge of Python

Preferred

Experience with pybind11
Experience with reinforcement learning
