Service Shop Dispatcher - Internal Advisor

Responsibilities

Dispatch work to the shop in an effective and efficient manner
Look up and code warranty repairs and invoice paperwork
Assist in the development and direction of the service team
Drive the growth of revenue, technical productivity, and quality assurance
Promote a high level of customer satisfaction
Distribute work to technicians based on skill level
Follow up with techs on status of repairs
Organize and prioritize service work
Assign work to technicians and manage shop flow
Keep service advisors updated on work flow
Ensure accurate documentation and communication to GM / dealership standards
Prioritize and control all comebacks to ensure proper and prompt attention
Review job status frequently
Book technician flat rate times
Review warranty entries, review with service manager
Have each repair completed run through QC

PRIORITIZES AND CONTROLS ALL COMEBACKS TO ENSURE PROPER AND PROMPT ATTENTION
REVIEWS JOB STATUS FREQUENTLY
BOOK TECHNICIAN FLAT RATE TIMES
REVIEW WARRANTY ENTRIES, REVIEW WITH SERVICE MANAGER
HAVE EACH REPAIR COMPLETED RUN THROUGH QC
