Responsibilities

Controls the mosquito population through application of driving and spraying adulticides using truck mounted ULV equipment
Assists Mosquito Control Technician with mosquito control truck maintenance, and cleaning of the garage
Assists Mosquito Control Technician with washing operations on the emptied barrels
Performs all other related duties as assigned

Qualification

Certified Pesticide ApplicatorSafe handling of pesticidesChemical flow pumps knowledgeElectric control systems knowledgePublic communicationMechanical aptitudeBaytown areaDriving record

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (must obtain TX driver's license within 90 days)

Preferred

Previous experience with safe handling of pesticides
Knowledge of chemical flow pumps and electric control systems
Knowledge of the Baytown area
Certified State of Texas Pesticide Applicator license; category: Vector Control
