Essex Brownell is seeking an Inventory Analyst to oversee inventory management and procurement support activities at the customer’s facility. The role involves managing the storeroom operations, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring timely replenishment of materials to support customer operations.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations of the onsite storeroom, ensuring accurate inventory levels and timely replenishment of materials

Maintain accurate records in the inventory management system, including receipts, issues, returns, and cycle counts

Coordinate with supply chain teams to forecast material needs and prevent stockouts

Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials in accordance with company and customer standards

Implement and sustain best practices in inventory control, safety, and housekeeping

Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in periodic physical inventories to ensure data accuracy

Monitor usage trends, identify slow-moving or obsolete items, and recommend adjustments to stock levels

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customer personnel and supply chain team

Ensure compliance with all site safety policies and environmental regulations

Provide reporting on inventory metrics, stock accuracy, and performance KPIs
