Responsibilities

Supervise the survey crew’s activities and use of equipment. Makes timely requests for equipment and other survey needs

Coordinate with the field staff and office staff on project needs

Provide design direction and guidance to technicians

Assist Instrument Operators and Survey Technicians with tasks and responsibilities

Provide field and construction observation support, as necessary

Provide CAD, GIS, or other computer software support and analysis

Collect and record electronic and written field notes

Perform supporting calculations and provides the necessary research and supporting documentation to support the calculations

Assist with the preparation of reports, studies and other documentation

Assist with preparation of plans and specifications

Qualification

Land surveying experienceGPSData collectorTotal StationCADMicroStation

Required

5-10+ years of relevant land surveying experience

GPS, Data collector, Total Station experience is required

CAD experience required

Preferred

MicroStation experience preferred
