As a Civil Construction Engineer Intern, you will assist with site surveying, inspection, and documentation of construction activities on municipal infrastructure and roadway projects.

Responsibilities
Assisting with site surveying, inspection and documentation of construction activities
Computing quantities and verifying measurements and layouts
Reading and interpreting construction plans and documents and researching specifications and codes as needed
Performing basic calculations to compute quantities, verify measurements, and organize and analyze data
Demonstrating good organizational skills with strong attention to detail and a willingness to perform a variety of tasks with guidance from other staff
Exhibiting strong communication skills with the ability to work productively with all project stakeholders
Utilizing CAD software (AutoCad, Civil 3D) as needed
Being proficient with MS Office (Excel & Word)
Maintaining a valid driver’s license
Qualification
Required
Students with a declared major in Civil Engineering and an interest in Municipal or Environmental engineering are encouraged to apply
Ability to compute quantities and verify measurements and layouts

Ability to perform basic calculations to compute quantities, verify measurements, and organize and analyze data
Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail and a willingness to perform a variety of tasks with guidance from other staff

Proficient with MS Office (Excel & Word)
Valid driver's license is required
Preferred
Previous experience using CAD software (AutoCad, Civil 3D) is desired
