Start in 2026 SummerRouteOne is seeking a Business Intelligence Intern for the summer of 2026. The role involves identifying trends, analyzing data, and preparing analytical reports for management, with a strong emphasis on communication and data integrity.

Responsibilities
Create and interpret results from a business perspective
Summarize reasonable conclusions and give written and verbal summaries at team and executive meetings
Create ad-hoc reports as requested
Create and maintain daily, monthly, and annual reports
Identify better business practices and processes
Participate in identifying and resolving issues with data, analysis, charts, and graphs
Maintain safety, security, and privacy standards throughout all areas of responsibility
Qualification
Required
Strong analytical skills
Understanding of query logic
Effective at organizing, interpreting, and reporting data to management-level staff
Ability to create and produce daily, monthly, and ad-hoc reports
Ability to validate the integrity of the data
Microsoft Access database creation and maintenance
Reports and analysis in Tableau and Excel
Mathematical, written, and verbal analysis of data
Ability to interpret requests from outside sources and create reports as needed
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Visio
Experienced in Tableau and Excel
Ability to communicate information and ideas, both verbally and in writing, so others will understand
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced software development environment
Outstanding customer service and communication skills
Proactive, detail-oriented professional
Strong analytical and technical skills
Ability to be a team player
Ability to comfortably and quickly deal with business issues
Characterized by integrity and high professional ethics
Focused on results while maintaining a sense of urgency
Preferred
Knowledge in Salesforce and Microsoft Access
