Responsibilities
Work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS, OSS and partner data solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives, serving as a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey
Delivering on-site technical assessments with partners and customers, participating in customer visits, understanding customer requirements, and creating reference architectures utilizing AWS, partner and OSS analytics, database and storage, solutions
Engaging with customer business and technology stakeholders to create a compelling vision of a modern data ecosystem to support a world where agents are the primary consumers of data
Help customers define and implement data architectures including data lakes and lakehouses to meet the demands of an agentic future while proving the value of AWS infrastructure to support new distributed computing solutions that often span private cloud and public cloud services
As trusted advisors to customers, provide guidance on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions while leading the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks throughout the project
Working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS
Owning technical engagements and ensuring timely and successful value delivery
Overseeing project delivery and ensuring compliance with security and governance standards
Owning the planning, execution, technical engagement, and outcomes of specific implementation projects and assignments
Collaborating with sales and technical teams to create proposals and assess customer needs
Communicating with internal teams like Account Managers, Service Teams and Go-to-Market, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
Experience with big data processing technology (e.g., Hadoop or ApacheSpark), data warehouse technical architecture, infrastructure components, ETL, and reporting/analytic tools and environments
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical degree or related experience
5+ years of data engineering experience
10+ years of database (eg. SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis) experience
Preferred
5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
Master's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Management, Information Systems, or other related discipline
Experience in any Bigdata architecture, or experience with automation and any version control tools and experience in deploying identity and access management systems
Experience leading and influencing your team or organization, or experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
Demonstrated experience with AI/ML model training pipelines, feature stores, and MLOps practices
