The role involves calibration and control tuning on advanced mechatronic systems and making proposals for improving control performance.

Responsibilities

Definition and execution of test plans to validate dynamic system performance. Document, analyze, and present test results
Compare measurements with simulation results and update system dynamics models as needed
Perform calibration and control tuning on advanced mechatronic systems
Make proposals for improving current control performance and drive the implementation of solutions. Document and present the methodology and outcomes

Required

Currently enrolled in a graduate program (MS or PhD) in Mechatronics, Control Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Requires less than 1 year of related experience

Preferred

Deep knowledge of dynamic system, feedback control and signal processing
Experience with dynamic testing, including modal testing and vibration measurement
Experience modeling control of dynamic systems using Matlab/Simulink and Python
Strong analytical capability, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
