Responsibilities
Create detailed engineering plans and technical drawings for civil projects using AutoCAD, with a focus on site layout, grading, and drainage systems
Plan and model stormwater retention and detention systems to manage runoff and meet local environmental and engineering standards
Design grading plans that optimize land use while ensuring soil stability, proper drainage, and regulatory compliance
Compile engineering documentation for permitting processes, including stormwater management, soils geotechnical investigations, erosion control, and site development approvals
Ensure that all project designs and documentation meet local, state, and federal environmental regulations and permitting requirements
Produce and manage design reports, budgets, calculations, and permitting correspondence to support project records and client needs
Client and regulatory agency correspondence
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required
At least 1 year of relevant experience required
Experience with AutoCAD
Preferred
Experience with C3D preferred
