Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in Kinesiology
The University of Texas at El Paso is inviting applications for a full-time faculty position in the Department of Kinesiology within the College of Health Sciences. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses, mentoring students, engaging in scholarly research, and participating in service activities.

Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses related to kinesiology
Mentor master's and doctoral students
Engage in scholarly research, which includes publishing research and applying for external funding
Participate in service activities within the department, college, university, and profession
Qualification
Required
an earned doctorate degree in Kinesiology or a closely related area, with a focus around strength and conditioning or human fitness and performance
a strong record of academic scholarship, as demonstrated by research publications, and have secured or be developing substantial extramural research funding
a commitment to and potential for teaching excellence, or a record of successful college or university teaching
potential for, or history of active service participation and/or leadership roles in campus, community, or professional organizations
The successful candidate must be able to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds
Preferred
previous experience and interest in conducting translational and collaborative research in the areas surrounding strength and conditioning or human fitness and performance
demonstrated record of, or strong potential of securing external funding
postdoctoral research training
