The Water Damage and Fire Damage Restoration Technician will perform production processes to fulfill service needs for restoration projects, ensuring quality and efficient work.
Responsibilities
Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance
Prepare rooms/areas for work activities. Set up staging area and equipment for each project
Perform production processes as directed
Adhere to safety and risk management guidelines at all times
Communicate with the crew chief and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes
Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown. Leave the jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance
Qualification
Required
Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with possibility of extended hours
Exposure to chemicals, identification of safety hazards and hazard communication
Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting and climbing
Ability to climb ladders and work overhead at varying heights
Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces / Attic)
Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects
Working in challenging environments with varying temperatures
Ability to perform emergency services on a 24 hour scheduled On Call rotational basis
Strong work ethic
Strong oral communication skills
High school diploma/GED
Preferred
Experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction preferred
IICRC certifications preferred
