Responsibilities
Serve as a technical leader on various civil engineering projects, specializing in transportation and municipal infrastructure
Lead the preparation and review of CD/PD/FD (Concept Design/Preliminary Design/Final Design) plans for local and state agencies
Design and implement traffic control staging plans for complex construction projects
Develop comprehensive stormwater management and drainage systems designs, ensuring compliance with all local and state regulations
Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction
Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and multi-disciplinary teams
Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance across project execution
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Civil Engineering is required
A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in civil/transportation engineering is mandatory
Must hold a Professional Engineer (PE) License in New Jersey
Candidates must be proficient with Civil 3D, MicroStation/Inroads
Candidates must be proficient with AutoTURN, Synchro, HCS (Highway Capacity Software)
Expertise in CD/PD/FD plans, traffic control staging, and comprehensive stormwater systems design
Strong project leadership and management abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reports, proposals, and client interaction
Preferred
PE licensure reciprocity or the ability to obtain it in Pennsylvania (PA) and New York (NY) is highly desired
