Training Manager

KDC/One is a global leader in custom manufacturing for beauty, personal care, and wellness brands. The Training Manager will create blended learning programs, manage onboarding for new hires, and collaborate with department leaders to enhance workforce capability across the Columbus and Groveport production sites.

Responsibilities

Create blended learning programs (classroom, e-learning, hands-on coaching) that build technical skills, reinforce safety and compliance, and support leadership development
Manage technical onboarding for new hires, ensuring a smooth and effective transition into the manufacturing environment
Collaborate with department leaders to identify skill gaps, align training with business goals, and continuously improve workforce capability
Coordinate training initiatives across sites to ensure consistency in continuing, delivery, and compliance
Train and mentor employees to meet performance expectations and grow within their roles
Maintain accurate training records and certifications to meet internal and external audit requirements
Build relationships across all levels by walking the floor, attending meetings, and participating in engagement events
Track training effectiveness using KPIs like downtime reduction, defect rates, and safety incidents then use insights to improve programs
Complete SOPs, Work Instructions, training matrices, and other documentation in line with company policy
Handle sensitive employee data and compliance records with discretion and professionalism
Support off-shifts and adjust your schedule as needed to meet operational demands

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Engineering, or a related field strongly preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical training, Human Resources, or manufacturing
Deep understanding of adult learning principles and technical training methods
Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to create engaging training materials across multiple formats
Experience with FDA GMPs, OSHA standards, and Microsoft Office Suite
