In this role, the intern will shadow a Receiving Chemist, learn about receiving, sampling, and analyzing waste, and update necessary documentation while gaining a broader understanding of the chemical/environmental industry.

Responsibilities
Ensure Health & Safety is the number one goal by following all policies, procedures, and always acting in a safe manner
Learn the use of proper personal protective equipment to sample waste in shipping containers throughout the warehouse and properly track and label the materials as needed
Shadow other chemists to learn about receiving, sampling and waste analysis
Updating SOP documentation
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Current or recent graduate with a Bachelor's in Chemistry or Environmental sciences
Proficiency with MS Office – Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Computer proficiency within a Windows based system
Preferred
Advanced chemistry knowledge
