Responsibilities
Performs general, routine maintenance, wall repair, painting and servicing operations to maintain the hospital buildings and equipment for SRMC and those facilities owned and operated by the hospital, in accordance with applicable guidelines, laws and accreditation standards
Responsible for a designated portion of these buildings, including assigned preventative maintenance, wall repair, painting and daily non-scheduled work requests
Covers all areas of the facility as necessary, weekend rotation as assigned
Other related duties as required or assigned by supervisor
Qualification
Required
Performs general, routine maintenance, wall repair, painting and servicing operations to maintain the hospital buildings and equipment for SRMC and those facilities owned and operated by the hospital, in accordance with applicable guidelines, laws and accreditation standards
Responsible for a designated portion of these buildings, including assigned preventative maintenance, wall repair, painting and daily non-scheduled work requests
Covers all areas of the facility as necessary, weekend rotation as assigned
Other related duties as required or assigned by supervisor
1 year experience as a maintenance mechanic and/or painter in a hospital or an equivalent experience in industry or in military
Preferred
2 year technical certification in an industrial trade preferred
