Responsibilities

Set up test equipment and test articles safely and efficiently
Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
Collaborate with engineering teams to align test capabilities with evolving program needs
Assist in designing, building, and documenting new test equipment and procedures
Support prototype system builds to meet design specifications and deadlines
Diagnose and resolve issues with batteries, fuel cells, and related systems

Qualification

Electro-mechanical experienceTest equipment calibrationData collection toolsHigh-voltage equipment handlingTechnical documentation interpretationMS Office proficiencySystem troubleshootingTeam collaboration

Required

2+ years of hands-on experience in electro-mechanical roles (e.g., build/repair, debugging, and system setup)
Technical training via apprenticeship, trade school, or college program
Proficiency with computers and standard software such as MS Office; familiarity with data collection and analysis tools

Preferred

Experience handling high-voltage/high-current equipment safely
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including electrical and mechanical schematics
A knack for building and troubleshooting complex systems—mechanical, electrical, or both
