Start in 2026 SpringSavannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) is a prime contractor for the US Department of Energy, and they are seeking a Chemical Inventory Intern to support the annual chemical inventory and related duties at the Savannah River Site. The intern will perform facility walk downs, use the CHMEMS Database for data input, and assist with filing and document management tasks.
Environmental Services
Responsibilities
Support the annual chemical inventory by completing facility walk downs
Learn to use the CHMEMS Database for data input
Support other Chemical Coordinator duties as assigned
Support the File Plan for Operations
File completed procedures
Conduct review of Operations Essential File Inventory (verify procedure revisions)
File completed procedures as needed
Support work package closures and processing in Work Release
Support Document Records Contacts (DRCs) with Operations File Plan for Records Management
Qualification
Required
Candidate must be enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited four-year university, and currently working towards a Bachelor's Degree
Must have completed their sophomore year
Must pass General Employment Training (GET)
Must pass Drug and Alcohol Testing (DAT)
A cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above
A valid Driver's License, Registration and proof of automobile insurance is required for driving on the Savannah River Site
