$19/hr - $21/hrThe Michaels Organization is dedicated to providing integrated architectural services, and they are seeking an Interior Design Intern to assist with a wide range of responsibilities. The intern will work on real projects, generating drawings and 3D models, while collaborating with the team throughout various project stages.

Responsibilities
Work from the designs of others under supervision and perform routine, but limited architectural assignments using prescribed methods
Generate drawings and 3D models utilizing BIM software
Collaborate with the team in producing architectural documents through all project stages and will apply standards and assemble drawing sets
Ensure output meets required expectations and deadlines
Copy sketches, layouts, plans and drawings
Perform drafting assignments by applying standardized drawing techniques
Develop, modify and/or review production drawings according to established standards
Engage in learning exercises including lunch-and-learns, lectures, project tours, and vendor presentations
Assist in the process of architectural drawing production from pre-design phase through construction
Qualification
Required
You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, preferably from a CIDA accredited university
You have completed your third year of an undergraduate program or first year of a graduate program and are returning to your program post-internship. (This internship is not for recent graduates)
Proficiency in BIM (Revit a plus, ArchiCAD a major plus) + rendering/modeling/graphic experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
Ability to work a minimum of 35 hours per week
Preferred
Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is a plus
Experience in Bluebeam is a plus
Experience with multi-family residential, hospitality or senior living design is preferred
