Responsibilities
Supervise, organize and control the technician workflow as well as support production priorities and improve efficiencies including continuous improvement and analysis
Prepare and manage site preventative maintenance programs using MAXIMO (Computerized Maint. Mgmt. System)
Manage spare parts inventory and accuracy, including the sourcing of replacement parts for repairs, rebuilds, and preventative maintenance
Provide last line of defense for troubleshooting to assist technicians in more complicated repairs and problems
Master the process and the operation of new and existing production lines and their parameters
Manage maintenance work flow and spare parts inventory transactions using MAXIMO
Follow technicians for proper execution and reporting maintenance task
Must promote a safe working environment and good GMP’s
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or associate degree in technical related field preferred, plus five to ten years of specialized experience in mechanical/electro-mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing environment (preferably food industry)
Five years supervisory experience with high level of mechanical aptitude
Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance CMMS systems
Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures required
Working knowledge of budgets and financial statement
Must be able to move freely inside and outside the building
Must be able to work at heights and confined spaces (with a proper training) as needed
Preferred
PLC programming knowledge is a plus
