Responsibilities

Serve as the technical vanguard within the customer success organization
Lead the technical deployment, configuration, and optimization of CodeRabbit’s platform across diverse customer environments
Collaborate directly with engineering teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient integrations
Diagnose complex technical challenges and develop creative, effective solutions that align with customer objectives
Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, providing deep product knowledge, architectural guidance, and best practices
Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to share customer insights, drive product improvements, and influence feature development
Deliver technical workshops, onboarding sessions, and documentation to enable customer teams and ensure successful adoption
Act as an internal technical champion for customer needs, ensuring their success drives CodeRabbit’s continuous improvement

Required

3+ years of experience in a customer-facing engineering role such as Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer or Solutions Architect
Background in software engineering, DevOps, or systems integration, with proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or Go)
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Comfort working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with multiple stakeholders and evolving priorities
Passion for emerging technologies, particularly in AI/ML, developer productivity, and code intelligence

Preferred

Strong experience with code review processes and tools
Deep expertise with multiple Git providers, e.g. GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab, Azure DevOps
Expertise in cloud providers (especially GCP)
Experience with Docker, Unix/Linux systems, networking
Familiarity with observability, RCA, and debugging practices and tools
Knowledge of self-hosted deployments and solutions
Familiarity with SQL and databases (especially Google Cloud SQL and PostgreSQL)
Knowledge of customer success, sales, and professional services (e.g. retention, expansion, MEDDPICC, services delivery)
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or another technical field
