Automation Controls Engineer

As a controls engineer, you will build customer relations and apply your technical expertise to on-site projects, overseeing field service deliverables and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
You will perform project management function for customer projects including needs identification, scheduling, tracking, and reporting
You will provide services to support the installation, startup, maintenance, and operation of automation control systems and advanced manufacturing software applications, drive systems, manufacturing systems, industrial networks and the individual products that comprise these systems
You will evaluate and approve operational quality of system equipment and serve as company liaison to the customer for multiple topics
You will participate in the establishment, measurement, and achievement of customer satisfaction metrics
You will develop and write documentation (validation project plans, standard operating procedures, qualification summary reports, system audits, technical reports, traceability matrix, etc.)
You will need to communicate with Rockwell Automation and customer management regarding project details
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening
Preferred
Typically requires minimum 5 years of related experience
Experience in industrial automation in Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, Metals, Water/Wastewater or others
PLC programming experience, using RSLogix 5, 500, 5000, and FactoryTalk Studio software
Studio5000, ControlLogix, CompactLogix
PowerFlex products and applications
Ethernet/IP, Stratix Switches
Servo/Motion control
Low Voltage PowerFlex Drives or Medium Voltage Drives
Multiple networks, including EtherNet, ControlNet, and DeviceNet
