Senior Systems Analyst (Telecom Expense Management)

The Senior Systems Analyst will play a key role in managing telecommunications expenses, optimizing vendor relationships, and analyzing billing data to identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring service quality.

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive reviews of telecom invoices, contracts, and inventory to identify billing errors, unused services, and cost-saving opportunities
Develop and maintain an accurate inventory of all telecommunications assets, including circuits, lines, mobile devices, and related services
Work closely with IT, Finance, and Procurement to ensure telecom expenses are accurately allocated and reported
Negotiate with carriers and vendors to secure optimal pricing, contract terms, and service-level agreements
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure telecom expense trends and savings initiatives
Coordinate telecom service changes, disconnects, and adds to align with organizational needs
Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting on telecom spend, trends, and cost-saving initiatives
Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in telecom cost management
Qualification
Required
H.S. Diploma or GED
8 years of major system design and implementation experience
Bachelor's degree will substitute four (4) years of work experience
A master's degree will substitute for two (2) years of work experience
Up to two (2) years of clinical patient care and/or clinical research experience may substitute for up to two (2) years of information systems experience on a month-to-month basis
