Responsibilities

Work from blueprints, process instructions and/or verbal instructions

Following a training period, operate a Sinker or Wire EDM Machine

Perform inspection of all work using a variety of measuring equipment

Actively collaborate with other team members to problem solve within their work area

Qualification

Required

A high School diploma or equivalent

At least 1 year experience as a general machinist

Demonstrated ability to follow an escalation path as it applied to machining

Familiarity using various measuring equipment, including but not limited to, Micrometers and Dial Bore Gauges

Competency in reading and interpreting blueprints and written work instructions

In accordance with strict Federal Aviation Administration (F.A.A.) regulations regarding Safety Sensitive Work (S.S.W.), employee enrollment & participation in the company's 'F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program' is a requirement for this position

Must have the ability to work an off-shift and/or train on a shift other than the hired shift
