Hourglass Cosmetics is a vegan and cruelty-free beauty brand that is redefining luxury cosmetics. They are seeking an experienced Director of Social Media to strategize and execute campaign launches and drive engagement across social platforms, while also leading a team and collaborating with various departments.

Responsibilities
Strategic content planning (short and long-term) of Hourglass organic social activity across all platforms; Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and Pinterest
Maintain a cross-platform posting calendar aligning with key marketing initiatives
Ideate creative concepts for both campaign/product launches and always-on approach
Own the social roll out across social platforms seeing through all project phases including concept, briefing, launch, asset delivery, deployment, recap
Generate creative briefs with research-driven, strategic recommendations and guide creative team on best practices through content creation process including concept, asset delivery, and deployment
Measure social performance generating regular recaps and translating learnings into actionable insights for growth to be shared across departments
Act as the eyes and ears of the brand on social identifying trends across social, beauty, and creative to adapt to Hourglass brand in real-time
Drive social innovation and remain at the forefront of new platform tools and emerging platforms
Be the guardian of Hourglass of social; from making sure assets are true to Hourglass to monitoring social conversations and providing editorial guidelines
Build audience acquisition plans and growth strategies
Identify unique ways to increase brand affinity, engage with fans, and build social community
Partner closely with the Influencer team on strategic recommendations that support key social and brand initiatives, build community, and impact organic growth of Hourglass channels
Work closely and collaboratively with cross-functional teams (influencer, brand, creative, paid social, and retail) to align on key initiatives, champion social-first ideas and orchestrate global integrated activations
Manage and grow a team member reporting to you
Qualification
Required
Minimum 8 years in social media marketing
Experience building and executing social marketing campaigns and calendars
Understands platform best practices and up-to-date design needs/restrictions across social
Proficient in social management and analytics tools such Dash Social, Sprout, etc
Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and influence future strategies
Thinks strategically and stays on top of tactical execution
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Has relentlessly high standards
Ability to own campaigns for ideation through launch and sustain
Must be able to work from Corporate Office at least 60% of the time
