Responsibilities
Lead monthly close, internal reporting, and routine analyses
Serve as Finance’s ERP lead for chart maintenance, workflows, and basic integrations
Oversee AP/AR, cash routines, and support payroll interfaces
Maintain GAAP-aligned policies and audit support packages
Partner with Programs/Development/Operations to align timelines and data needs
Coach and develop staff; reinforce a transparent, service-oriented culture
Qualification
Required
Significant Controller/Assistant Controller experience, ideally in a complex, multi-program organization
Proven ability to run a reliable close, lead audits, and produce clear internal reports
Hands-on ERP experience (Sage preferred) with a track record of reducing manual processes
Strong communicator and team builder; trusted partner to senior leaders
Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance; CPA or MBA preferred or equivalent experience
Preferred
Nonprofit, fund, and grant accounting experience
Prior public accounting/audit background
